The Journey
I swore in as a police officer in 1990. In 2005 an accident changed my life and career path forever. Post surgery my Doctor said I would not walk the same again. I knew that taking prescribed medications and going to rehabilitation alone was not going to fix me. I found a professional strong-man competitor and asked him to help me. Let’s just say “unconventional therapeutics” and two years of grueling strength training (a 6’2 monster of a person yelling at me) gave me my life back “the pain is worth the gain in the end”.
Navigating the Wild West of poor quality and contaminated therapeutics was one of the most difficult parts of the journey. Wanting to share my recovery story and help others, I opened two independent nutrition shops and became part owner of a strength training/cross fit gym.
With a passion for helping friends and family. I Co-Founded Ophir Health to offer quality, integrity-driven products made here in the USA.
